Small Group Violin Lessons
For ages 7 and up, Do Re Mi Small Group Violin lessons offer a fun, friendly, and nurturing environment essential to ensuring each student an enjoyable journey with instrumental lessons. The group social dynamic will both captivate and motivate your young student!
In addition to learning to play an instrument, lessons include:
- Music theory
- Ear training
- Ensemble development
- Musical games
Each student is required to purchase their own violin. Do Re Mi Academy offers violins for purchase at an economical price and monthly payments can be arranged. Please contact us for more details.
Schedule: A year round program, there are 47 classes held over a calendar year. Some months have more or less classes, depending on holidays and breaks, and we provide a class calendar upon enrollment. Classes are continually being formed based on age, violin level and availability. We make every effort to offer a class that will fit your needs!
Recitals: Two fun recitals are planned each year – one at the Academy in the winter, and a larger production at a local theater in June. These are an exciting time for students to showcase their progress!
Happiness Guarantee: We want your child’s musical education to be a rewarding experience! If you are unsure whether or not your child will enjoy a specific instrument or lessons in general, we encourage a minimum 1-month trial period. Starting any new physical movement takes repetition and practice. The learning curve is steep in the first few weeks, therefore in order to get a clear picture of whether you have made the right choice, at least 8 consecutive weeks of lessons is advised. However, if you choose to withdraw for any reason after the first month, we will refund your paid tuition. The materials fee for books cannot be refunded.
